No the covering is a polyester screen coated with polyurethane, 15 times stronger than PVC.

Over twenty colours available in several grades
Is the covering washable? How do you wash it?
Yes. The covering can be cleaned using detergent and water or steam.
Can you paint Clipso ceilings? What kind of paint do you use?
Yes, Clipso ceilings can be painted using a roller or spray gun.
Can Clipso ceilings withstand temperatures of less than -20°C or greater than +70°C?
Yes. Optimum tension is retained. The covering undergoes no change between -20°C and +70°C.
How do you deal with ceilings which are over 5 metres?
By using an intermediate profile in which two coverings are supported. See page 5 of the technical data sheet "fitting a ceiling"
Is it possible to carry out work behind Clipso ceilings?
Yes, access to behind ceilings is possible by opening from the corners.
How do you create an insulating ceiling?
In combination with an insulating material.
Does the covering have noise reduction properties?
Yes, if you add an acoustic absorbent
